TikTok RPM: what Creator Rewards pays per 1,000 views

TikTok pays the best native per-view rate of any major platform — on videos over a minute long, to accounts past 10,000 followers, on the views it decides to count. Here is what that leaves, next to what clipping campaigns pay for the same posts.

Clipping rates are re-read from every live campaign we cover — last updated 2026-09-04. Platform payout figures are not ours: they are compiled from each platform’s published terms and from what creators report earning, and every one of them is dated below.

The short answer

TikTok pays roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 views, through the TikTok Creator Rewards Program — and only once you are in it. Open to anyone who clears published thresholds.

Clipping campaigns accepting TikTok posts are paying a median of $1.00 per 1,000 views right now, across 1,221 live campaigns — and the good end of that board is at $2.00. No follower minimum, no view threshold, no application to a partner programme.

What you have to clear before it pays anything

This is the half of the comparison that usually gets left out. The rate above is what you earn after clearing all of this:

  • 18 or over — 19 in South Korea
  • 100,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days
  • A personal account in good standing, in an eligible country: Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the UK or the US
  • Each video must run over one minute and reach 1,000 qualified For You views before it earns anything

A clipping campaign asks for none of it. The account you post from can be a week old with forty followers; what the campaign buys is views on a clip, and it pays on the views the clip earns. That is the entire difference in access between the two, and for most people reading this it matters more than the difference in rate.

The same views, both ways

ViewsTikTok, lowTikTok, highClipping, medianClipping, good campaign
100,000$40.00$100.00$100.00$200.00
1,000,000$400.00$1,000.00$1,000.00$2,000.00
10,000,000$4,000.00$10,000.00$10,000.00$20,000.00

Both clipping columns are read from the live board at the moment this page was rendered: 954 of the 1,221 live campaigns accepting TikTok publish a rate worth counting. The median is the middle of those; the good-campaign figure is the same weighted reading the rest of the site uses, so it matches what you will see on the rate index.

The honest caveat on this table cuts both ways. Campaign budgets run out, so a rate only pays while there is money behind it — and a clip has to be approved. But the views that merely qualify you to enter TikTok's programme are, on a campaign, simply paid — from the first clip, on an account with no history.

What the range doesn't say

The one-minute rule is the one that matters for clipping. A 30-second clip — which is most clipping output — earns nothing from this programme no matter how it performs.

Payment is on 'qualified' views, a subset TikTok filters by source, watch duration and authenticity and does not fully publish. The rate you realise is below the rate that gets quoted, and a large public view count can monetise on far fewer.

Audience geography moves the figure more than niche does: a US-weighted audience earns roughly 2.6 times what a Brazil-weighted one earns on identical content and identical view counts.

Live campaigns paying for TikTok posts right now

Nothing here is open to a free account at the moment. Campaigns become readable once they have been live 72 hours and are down to 6-40% of their budget — a members’ account sees them from the minute they drop.

Where these numbers come from

Two different places, and the difference matters more than either figure. The clipping rates are measured: read at render time from every live campaign ClipRadar covers, and shown as an em dash rather than an estimate when the read fails.

The TikTok figures are compiled. No platform publishes a per-view rate, so the eligibility thresholds come from the platform’s own terms and the payout range from what creators report earning. It is a range for that reason: anyone quoting a single RPM for a pooled, revenue-shared programme is quoting somebody else’s page.
